For those who were wondering where he was to start the season (like I was), the broadcasters tonight said he was injured.

Either way he was phenomenal yet again tonight
No way we win without him
Team High scoring, and assists, and 2nd in rebounding
He’s playing off hook

...and yet still not starting. No surprise that we went down tonight 10-0* and looked awful before he came in.
*it might've been like 12-4 when he actually entered.

No surprise. He's the best looking freshman guard or forward we've had since Josh Childress.
If he really projects as a lottery pick, it's hard to imagine him staying.

Didn’t the mom moved cross country and got a job at Stanford? Maybe he’s a unicorn. A great basketball player who values a Stanford education and degree.

Carlyle was held out/suspended for academic shortcomings, somewhat akin to KZ Okpala but not necessarily the same reasons. You are citing misinformation rather than a solved mystery by the uninformed announcers. That’s what Bob was trying to correct. This was reported on our subscription message boards not two weeks ago but just about two months ago.
