McCaffrey family not in a suite for the Super Bowl -

Love it, a family of reasonable spending lol.
Quote:Earlier this week, Chris McCaffery of the San Francisco 49ers had to stop his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, from purchasing the tickets.
It happened that McCaffery's mom, Lisa, spoke up about not being able to afford the suite. "We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia," Lisa claimed on her "Your Mom" podcast. "So, we are not in a suite. I'll tell you that right now."
Lisa explained that they had to settle for a negotiated reserved area in the stadium, but they were only able to secure eight tickets for the family. As a result, any of McCaffery's friends would watch from a nearby bar and meet up with them afterward.
The disappointed matriarch seemingly blamed Taylor Swift for the hiked prices, saying, "Long story short, they are outrageously expensive … I don’t know if it's the Taylor Swift factor, I don’t know if it's the first time in Vegas factor, there is just so much going on."
Following Lisa McCaffery's revelation, her daughter-in-law-to-be attempted to make her happy by purchasing suite tickets, but Culpo's attempt was thwarted by her fiancé, who declared he "had to nix" it. "She [Culpo] tried to, but I will not let anybody pay to watch me play," the running back declared, before reiterating, "I'm not letting anyone pay to watch me play."

He may be a really classy guy, but I had to laugh at that. (The only way he could do that is by not playing, which we surely don’t want.)

Plenty of people are paying to watch him play - which is ironic

I dunno, I find it hard to believe with Ed's career and everything that they couldn't swing something. This feels like a planted story.

Agree. I also don't care how or where the various McCaffrey family members watch the game. It doesn't matter to me at all, and frankly I find it hard to imagine it matters to anybody else. This is truly an attempt to create "buzz" around an irrelevant subject :-).

generally agree, also think anyone who starts looking for a suite at the Super Bowl two weeks before the game will have to pay a lot. Looks like Allegiant Stadium has 128 suites, I'd guess many went to NFL partner and sponsors and/or companies looking to entertain customers/potential customers
Here's one source on the cost
Quote:There are three tiers in the suites. The most expensive is the Owner's Club Suite.
The price range starts from $180,000 for four tickets to $1.8 million for 20 tickets.
The Traditional Suites is being sold at $1.25 million and can accommodate 22 guests. They are said to be the perfect choice for NFL players' families.
