We are finally going to Sierra Camp! Any tips for families with middle and elementary school kids?

Congrats, it will be great! Really, no tips necessary, it's all straightforward and good. Try lots of things, but don't miss Disco Bingo! If you're into hiking, the altitude is real so work up to the longer hikes.

oldalum, you were right. It was great especially Disco Bingo which was the group highlight of the week. My individual highlight was seeing a mama bear and her two cubs on a hike around the lake. Minime said "this was the best week of my life" and that's high bar for that brat. I feel like a fool not going earlier. It was only after my Other Half threatened me with musical theater family camp in Maine that this xylophobe suddenly remembered Sierra Camp. I was particularly impressed with the counselors. They represent the university better than ever. I wanted to either get my curiosity satisified or want to come back every year. Thanks to the permanent Staph, the summer Staph and my fellow campers, it's the later. Feel free to DM me if you have not gone and are interested.
