given we and Cal provide the ACC with "new" TV inventory for the late time slot I would expect at least as many late games as previously....

This would only apply for our home games right? I actually think this gives us an advantage given the body clock issues that the visiting ACC teams will have as we get close to 2 AM eastern time finishes. We may have noon local time kicks on the east coast as revenge, but at least that makes the flight back for the team earlier in the day.

Ugh. I'm too old for games that end at 11 pm.

I don’t see why this would be the case.
1) i thought the pac 12 negotiated to offer up night games, but because acc contracts are already set, I don’t see how they could add a late night slot. And why would they for Stanford and Cal?
2) and if we were playing a team like Clemson, I imagine networks would be much more interested in keeping the East Coast audience then scooping any random late night West coast audiences.
If anything, I could see the ACC already having contracts for 12pm and 1pm EST games and I could see us having 9am or 10am games. Sadly, I’m getting to the age where a 9am game is more appealing than a 7:30pm game.
