Yes, I’m talking about Solomon Thomas. Jets X-Factor’s Joe Blewett and Michael Nania have said they believe Thomas outplayed Kinlaw in 2023. Thomas is making just $3 million, but could the Jets elevate Thomas’ playing time and reduce Kinlaw’s?
An NFL pundit makes the case that Solomon Thomas ($3M) is a better defensive tackle than Javon Kinlaw ($7.25M ).

Here's a cold reminder of the passage of time. This will be Thomas's 8th year in the NFL. His breakout sophomore season (also Stanford's last P12 championship) was 9 years ago.

Although the "bust" tag sticks with him because the Niners drafted him too high, an 8 year NFL career is a solid achievement.

Indeed, if he were drafted on day 2 nobody would bat an eye. I often mentally swap Solly's pick with Fred Warner (3rd round same draft) and it all shakes out.
