TCU tickets - flash sale - 82lsju - 08-09-2024

I wonder how ticket sales for the TCU game are going??

Scanning the sunny side sections between the goal lines the lower bowl look to have low availability, the upper bowl looks to have over 50% of the seats available...

From what I've seen, you can have the impression that there is low availability and then show up at the game and see almost nobody in the stands.

I think Stanford throttles the ticket supply on gostanford.com (and directly or indirectly on their ticketing platform, Stubhub) because they don't want shoppers to see how empty it is. It could be a way to keep prices up and maximize revenue from our small fan base.  Do others agree or know more?

I think a lot of tickets are sold/given away and that goes along with announced attendance, but actual butt in seats is low.

The TCU Alumni - NorCal group has just 331 members on Facebook. Maybe not a lot of TCU alums in the SFBA.
