#24 Boston College plays at #6 Missouri (-15.5) tomorrow morning. Cal (-18.5) should be able to beat San Diego State.

I see University of Dead Fake Girlfriends beating Purdue at half 42-0. Either incredibly angry and focused after they lost to Northern Illinois, or Northern Illinois is really quite good.

WSU over UW in Seattle, 24-19 !
WSU's defense held at the end of the game.
UW had 4th & goal on the 1 with a minute left, ran an option play, and WSU stuffed it.
With WSU starting from the 1, UW still had a small chance if they could force a safety but instead they committed two offsides penalties on defense, and 16 penalties for the game total.
This makes me happy. I'm rooting for Wash St and Oregon St. whenever I can after how they got shafted.

In the marquee ACC-involved matchup, #24 Boston College (2-1) lost on the road to #6 Missouri (3-0).
Memphis (3-0) beat Florida State (0-3), 20-12
at FSU. And the SEC has stopped returning FSU's calls.
NC State (2-1) beat LaTech 30-20, Ga Tech (3-1) spanked VMI, 59-7, Pitt (3-0) beat West VA (1-2) in a squeaker, 38-34.

Georgia barely squeaked by Kentucky, but like all great teams, when the game is on the line, they find a way to win.

Laughers: #10 Miami (3-0) beat Ball State 62-0, Ole Miss destroyed Wake Forest (1-2) 40-6, North Carolina (3-0) beat NC Central, 45-10 and as expected, Cal (3-0) crunched San Diego State, 31-10.
Duke (3-0) edged UConn, 26-21 and Maryland beat Virginia, 27-13.
ACC has five 3-0 teams; Cal, Pitt, NC, #10 Miami, and Duke. #19 Louisville and Syracuse are 2-0. GaTech is 3-1.
ACC also has five 2-1 teams; #24 BC, VA, NC State, SMU and VaTech.
#22 Clemson and Stanford are both 1-1, which makes sense since most football fans think of the two schools' FB teams as essentially identical.
Wake Forest is 1-2.
And the sad little floormat of the conference is Florida State, now 0-3. Perhaps they should join the AAC.

Looking up our conference scores by going to the ACC tab on ESPN.com feels so strange and wrong. But navigating to the Big 10 scoreboard and seeing UCLA getting flattened by INDIANA at the Rose Bowl somehow makes up for that.

I did the same. After looking at UCLA playing so ineffectively I almost felt sorry for them. Almost. Poor Ethan Garbers is out there still trying to be a P5 college QB while surrounded by mediocre (at best) talent. Bad as the offense seemed to be, the UCLA defense would need to improve a lot to be a hot mess. USC took their defensive coordinator. It appears their may be no honor among co-conspirators. Too bad we don't play UCLA this year.

Florida State my want to bypass the AAC and go straight to the local Community College Football Conference.

I have always been a big fan of both schools except when they play Stanford. Each time their respective football teams beat the condoms from down south I send a small check as donation the school (OSU or WSU).

Our friends from opening week, TCU, were up 28-7 early in the third quarter on UCF, but managed to coug the game in the end. I hadn't been aware that Gus Malzahn is now at UCF.
Of course, how Stanford does in its last 10 games is of far more interest to us than how TCU does from here on out, but I'd prefer to receive favorable omens wherever we can find them.
