Free agency, all day every day. The NLI signing days hosted by high schools were cute little events though.

One funny NIL signing day story.
As the recruit was marching up to the podium his school band was playing the fight song of the school everyone knew he would be announcing for.
However, when he made his announcement, it was for a different school.
When asked why afterwards, he said he decided on the way up he just couldn't stand listening to that song for four years.

I could definitely understand that if it was USC's fight song.

I haven't researched any articles on this yet. Does this mean a coach can try to "steal" prep players from their committed college up to the day the student athlete enrolls in classes at his/her "committed" school?
If so, I would imagine some new binding document will be created by the NCAA or conferences or the government to instiute some control on the recruitment of prep players.

The financial aid package has existed for years. But for Stanford not in play too often but it has been used
