Uni's - vataha - 10-24-2024

This Stanford team has a lot of issues, primarily about being competitive (or in our case non-competitive) so this may appear to some as a non-issue but will say it anyhow, why is most every game this year coupled with a different uniform look. I love the traditional Stanford uniforms, Cardinal and white for home games and all-white for away games. Classy and truly representative of Stanford football. I'll give to the all black uni's for a special game a year as this has been the trend in college uni's for 15-20 years now, I can dig it. This year has been all cosplay.

My son and I traveled out to South Carolina for the Clemson game. (heal S. Carolina) I was disappointed to see Stanford come out in their red jammie pants. What a crap look. I understand Stanford is going with the script "Stanford" helmets again this Saturday, script only applies to cal and ucla, not Stanford (except baseball). We've noticed how CTT is very low-key about who he represents, someone in the AD please find CTT a sweatshirt that says "Stanford".

Im not a curmudgeon just a traditionalist about Stanford football uniforms. If the idea of spicing up the uni's is to attract recruits, it ain't working. I would prefer to go back to our exceptionally clean and classy uniforms so we can look good while looking like shit.

I am also not a fan of many of the alternate uniforms, but I'm not the target audience for them.  I assume the players like them and if they do I can tolerate them.

When will they ditch the long white undershirt look?  Screams high school, looks awful, and Daniels' shirt was a tackling aid so bad it was called out on one of the broadcasts. Is Stanford too cheap to spring for black or red to go with what they are wearing?

Seems unimportant, but I think it is. Look bad; play bad.
