Nicknames of Note-SMU Pony Edition - Leftcoast - 10-24-2024

Here's the best of the batch nicknames from the SMU game predictions.  All choices are based on my own offbeat and quite subjective sense of humor so feel free to nominate your own.

JJJ:                 Mustang Sally vs Sally Ride
Sam Leopold:   Wild Horses vs Mild Forces (accurate, the wild horses ran all over us)
Mick:               Laura Bush vs Lou Henry Hoover 

Just off the podium 'cause I liked the Blazing Saddles references although you need to be "of a certain age" to get it, is Cardcrimson's movie quote themed nicknames.  He'd be on the podium if he hadn't left off the final "MORONS".  The remaining fans who stuck through all four quarters and heard the final buzzer can relate.

100% agreement with this one.  I laughed when I first saw it last week, then I kicked myself for not thinking of it first.

I agree with Marty's post - Keep it coming.  The Lefty Awards have quickly become an essential post-game thread much like Matt's Sunday morning thoughts.  And in a dismal season, they are unfortunately much more entertaining & uplifting.
