Probably the best of the anti-heroes of the 70s. The Conversation seems more and more relevant these days. My high school kid recently watched The Royal Tenenbaums and said to me: "I can't believe that's the same guy from The Conversation. Has he been alive for centuries?"
Since this is a sports board, I should add that when I surf by Hoosiers, I can't stop watching until they run the picket fence.

How can you leave out: "The French Connection" Now I understand maybe many of you were not alive when he made that film but I was and still is one of my favorite films.

All those movies are timeless. It’s hard to believe he was 94.

My first introduction to him was when he played Lex Luthor in the Christopher Reeves' Superman movie.
