A Phoenix is said to be resurrected from its ashes. I’m not sure the Cardboard was reduced to ashes but thanks to the folks who, phoenix like, brought it back.

I believe we all agree the Cardboard is great. And we know it is run gratis. We hope thise that run it get enough content/discussion out of it to make it worth it tobb them.
I don’t know the cause of any of the outages it has had, but if they are due to things like software upgrades or switching something, it would be nice to ger a notice “We are doing an upgrade on Saturday and we expect no problem, but if things break, we’ll get it back as soon as we can”. That lets those of us not in the inner circle to know it is just maintenance, not something more. And it helps to remind us of who is supporting the Cardboard
This is not a complainrt, only a suggestion. I think all of us have caused our own downtimes when upgrades and such led to an unexpected outage.

Yvonne is planning to move to a different hosting site because of various issues with pair.com, especially billing issues, which is what caused the last couple of outages. Sadly the rest of us haven't had time lately to help with the move.
