FSU 31, #6 Alabama 17
Stanford was only ACC team with a loss so far this season until Tennessee beat Syracuse.

Good thing Castellanos is no longer at BC. Without him, we have a shot of winning our home opener.

Watched parts of Cal v OSU, UCLA v Utah, and Ariz v Hawaii. Cal was better than OSU, Ucla was crushed by Utah, and Hawaii same by Ariz.
Cal's frosh QB is terrific. Today he was much better than the wildly discussed Nico at UCLA, and the Haw QB, who was clearly limited by last week's injury, couldn't do much. Tafiti was good for Ariz, and Utah's new qb is quite good also.
All the QBs today were much better than BG. Stunningly so.
Interestingly, I thought our running game vs Hawaii was better than Arizona's, and that was with no passing threat. So, there's a sliver of light in the tunnel IF we can even moderately improve at QB.
And, omg, Lavani Damuni is still playing for Utah, and he is a big star.

So best case scenario this season is maybe 2 wins?

Maybe, but don't bet on it.

When I was watching the Cal QB play what came to mind what will it cost Cal in $$$ to keep him? And what will it cost Cal to pay for a supporting cast around him that will allow him to show case his talents? At least Cal appears to be in a better position than Stanford at this point.

Watched 15 + games yesterday, and was particularly impressed by Kal. That QB might tank their program from a financial perspective but the athleticism and chasm of depth that Kal has makes Stanford look FCS.
After seeing yesterday’s QB play, in particular Bachmeier, I feel this Stanford iteration wins 0-1 games.

The Cal Athletic Department claims the money is rolling in, a record $82M in 24-25.
