Thanks so much for posting this! I'm still in the pre-game and I'm loving that the game is sponsored by Colt 45 and that apparently those are the Sierra Nevada mountains lurking just past the edge of campus. Can't wait to see the game!

The Band's halftime show includes a formation that is vaguely phallic and spelling the word SEX. And it was broadcast on national TV. A simpler time indeed. Also the Band sounds great!

Gotta love Bud Wilkinson. Chris Schenkel asks: 'Bud, any comment on women's liberation?' Bud: Yeah, not touching that.
Also cool is how LSJUMB was playing those same songs when I showed on campus 15 years later.
That Plunkett kid is pretty good.

Unfortunately the video ended before the game ended. I assume we won. :•) Pretty boring game after we scored 21 points in the first Q. We absolutely couldn't run on UW. Man, the Dollies were hot in '70. The Vega was ugly in all 4 configurations. OTOH, the '71 Camaro was so sweet. I once downed a 40 oz Colt 45. That stuff was stout and I was absolutely hammered. I miss having a real mascot.
