2025 Stanford at North Carolina Predictions Thread - george - 11-02-2025
I'm heading to China tomorrow and will be there for the game, so I'm starting the thread now. I'm probably going to need someone else to help me update the final score for what is hopefully our 4th win of the season on Saturday.

Our injuries, our running game MIA, QB1 juggling, and being on the road to east coast seem a lot to overcome.
Even against a tar heels team with its own issues.
If we had them at home I'd have more hopeful thoughts.
As usual, hoping my pessimism comes back to bite me on the butt.

Note to JJJ - MJ did not foul out of the Stanford Invitational campionship game, though he was on the bench most of the game, finishing with 4 pts & 4 fouls. It didn't matter much since Sam Perkins pretty much took matters into his own hands to pick up the slack, and then Kenny Smith ran the 4 corners O to perfection to close the game out. It was a great game, nonetheless. Jordan DQ'ed from just one game that entire season, in the NCAA tourney against Indiana, to close out his college career.
Those were good times, even though our record that year wasn't so hot. Earl Koberlein was our neighbor in a dinky but fun apartment complex down by California Avenue back then.

I like Trees here against a lost Tar Heel squad, despite the road trip.
Brown at QB, throwing to CJ Williams, Farrell, High.
Maybe Micah Ford can take a few snaps.
Our defense can get two turnovers, and might be the difference in the game.
