The concerts described in the linked article were approved by Santa Clara County this week.

May 16, 17, 19 between 5 - 10 pm with fireworks

These concerts are May 16 (Sat), May 17 (Sun), May 19 (Wed).

HAVE THEY DONE IT AGAIN?  The NCAA Softball Regionals are to be May 15-17.  At the very least, parking will be a mess, should Stanford have a chance to host the regionals again.


Women's Tennis finals will be in Athens, GA that weekend.
Women's Golf Regionals finished up on May 13 at the Farm.
WWP championship will be the previous weekend, but in San Diego.  (Reminder: MWP NCAA championships will be at Stanford in early December)


Too bad the fireworks allotment is going for some concerts rather than for some athletic events.

(I notice the article's picture wasn't from last year's concert.  I was wondering how many years they had to go back to get a stadium that full.)

I'm all for allowing the stadium to earn $ for the U.  Certainly football ticket revenue is not helping much.
