Yes. Loving Eschmeyer's minutes. We're playing hurried in general, but some of that is Duke's defense. They are doing to us what we have often done to other teams.

Agreed. Demonstrated in the last twenty seconds before timeout. She's too short and neither strong nor fast enough to beat her defender if they're a true big, and then on the other end she can't stop the defender taking it to the basket for the same reasons. And she has no ability to step back or make a pass when she gets stuck in the paint. I'd rather have a three big rotation and have Ogden okay time at the 4 on defense than have MAS playing the 4 or 5.

Somfai and Ogden are a combined 2/9. We’ve really struggled in the second quarter (Duke is outscoring us 13-5).

FWIW, Eschmeyer and Somfai each have 8 minutes; MAS has 3.

Yeah, 8 turnovers between Swain, Clardy, and Lepolo. Ugh.
Also, Somfai and Ogden are a combined 2/11. Eschmeyer is earning her minutes.

Turnovers and an offense that is stagnant so the shot clock is running down often and we turn it over or throw up a contested bad shot. Somfai has taken some bad rushed shots. Sometimes you are wide open for a reason and it doesn’t need to be a shot.
If we could clean up a few things, we can win. Duke doesn’t look unbeatable for being in the Elite 8 last year and all their returners.

Note that apparently they haven't fouled us once while shooting in nearly three quarters. That's a little weird..

Yeah, we had a few shots from Ogden go in, but even before that we had been outshooting Duke, even accounting for bad shooting from Somfai (now 1/9) and Ogden (1/5 at that point, but now 4/8). The problem is the 17 turnovers, including 5, 4, and 4 from Clardy, Swain and Lepolo.
We are now shooting 24/45 (44%) and 5/12 from 3. Eschmeyer (4/10) now has more minutes than Somfai and MAS combined.
We’ve kept it close but we are at risk of it getting away from us. Shot clock violation followed by another turnover, and there are 2 minutes left in the game.

And how many turnovers have been unforced like throwing the ball into the backcourt or trying to advance pass but the person isn't even looking and the ball goes out of bounds. LACK OF FOCUS.
also kind of exposed interior defense issues. Duke posts scored a lot 1x1 in the 2nd half. definitely feels like a game we could/should have won although Duke played well enough to win on the road. Disappointing nonetheless. Ogden, Lepolo, Somfai all needed to be much better.

She played about the first 2-3 minutes. A Duke player stole the ball from her and scored then she turned it over on a bad inbounds pass right after and Duke scored agin. She then sat on the bench the rest of the game.
