I'm listening to KP on the audio feed.  It's uncanny how she sounds just like Tara.  Her phrasing, her pauses, even the use of "umm" and "ah."  I guess 17 years as an assistant had an impact.

Nice first quarter, except for Ogden's turnovers.  We lead 19-9.  Clardy with 10 points in the first Q.

The announcers keep referring to us missing Lepolo when something doesn't work.  Like when Cal scored on a fast break and when Nunu missed a 3 on a fast break after a steal by Shay.  They clearly don't study the stat sheets.  Lepolo doen't have good assist numbers and isn't good at defending fast breaks.

I don’t think it’s just the freshman.. we got the two Stanford teams we know in the first half. The first quarter shooting really well and taking care of the ball. 2nd quarter, cannot make shots and turning the ball over. Outscored Cal by 10 only to get outscored by 10. Let’s see what the 2nd half holds cause the old Stanford teams used to be 2nd half teams.. hasn’t been the case in a while.

Do players ever question WHY they are WIDE open from three. Shay should not be shooting from out there. The stats do not lie. 

We should have played some zone to protect players with fouls and change up the defense while Cal was on a run. Sigh. This feels like a game our offense is not going to be able to step up yet again and Cal is going to pull away in the 2nd half.
