they no longer (at least not that I could find) provide the total budget or the source of funds....

they do say

Quote:In FY25, philanthropic support to the athletics department remained the top revenue source for our varsity athletics programs. Thirty-six percent of Varsity Athletics-related revenues came from philanthropic gifts. Endowments gifts covered 26 percent of expenses while expendable gifts and other philanthropic support covered nearly 10 percent of the department’s expenses

these items add up to ~72% of total revenue with the balance probably mostly from media payments, and university support, in 2023-24 these were 14%, and 33% of revenue.  In 2023-24 they also listed rev from football gate (4%), other gate (2%), corp partnerships (4%) and misc rev (3%).  I would guess that media rev was down a lot and university support was up a lot.

They had this to say about fundraising

Quote:FY25 FUNDRAISING HIGHLIGHTS

$110.1M in cash received.

$111.7M in new gift commitments and pledges.

$12.2M in annual giving.

5,159 donor households made a gift in support of Stanford Athletics.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION
The Athletics Department would like to give a special thanks to the 43 families who have supported the Athletics Director’s Circle. Nine new families joined this year, helping provide critical resources and the flexibility for our athletics director to meet the most pressing needs of our student-athletes.

We would also like to thank the 23 families who made a gift commitment of seven figures or more across many key funding priorities. This marked the most seven-figure commitments in one year in the history of Stanford Athletics.
