WBB: Stanford 66 -- Louisville 84 -
petersalas - 01-29-2026
I don’t see Nunu nor Talana out here. Also, Harper nor Kennedy are warming up.

Assume Nunu is in concussion protocol. What's the scoop on Talana?

Yes, neither Nunu nor Talana are in sight. Need big games from Courtney and Hailee tonight.

Kennedy's out for the rest of the season - IIRC, from an arm injury in December

The Louisville guards are very aggressive and look like they can steal the ball from our guards - ball- hawking all over the court. We’re not getting too many calls tonight…

I think you mean not getting ANY calls.

This means potentially a 7-player rotation tonight, plus maybe Amborn.

Raise your hand if you predicted that our leading scorer would be *checks notes* Shay IJIWOYE (literally had to check notes to see how to spell her name).
But into the second quarter, it is not looking good.

Alexa’s gotta take that shot. Close to the hoop, instead passes.

I’ve always liked Shay’s skills under the hoop. It’s her D that’s … lacking.

Not looking good. Poor transition defense and giving up too many offensive boards. Note, we would also not be winning with Nunu or Lepolo.
Announcers talking about all the things Coach Paye emphasized in shootaround this morning, rebounding, turnovers, defense.
Team is doing none of those things. Again coaching and having the team ready to play. Not where it needs to be...

Now I understand why the announcers just call her E.

We need to get out of the ACC asap. It’s clear the refs have an issue with us in this league because it’s always 8 vs 5
