Even if we lost every game the rest of this season, I don't see a coaching change after two seasons. But she should certainly feel the pressure of wanting to win and get into the (real) post-season this year...

It's not like she's new to the program. The fact that she sat next to TV for 17 years should make the leash shorter IMO.

I'm sure you are correct.

We lead 16-14 after one quarter.

5 turnovers in the first quarter. We are winning the rebound battle 14-8.

Somfai continues her rebounding tear. She has 8 halfway through the 2nd Q.

We lead 34-32 at the half.

I can’t believe I’m here again saying the refs are calling some terrible calls and letting a lot go. But seems like they finally did a decent job in the 2nd quarter..

Thia quarter is not the refs. This is all Stanford and the team we’ve seen lately…

Virginia Tech's head coach looks like Courtney Banghart's sister. Maybe it's just me, but the resemblance is uncanny.

With four minutes left Stanford needs to play with urgency which they are and make shots which they are not.

VT bench is pumped up.

Three minutes left. I would have started a full court press a little sooner to change things up. But this is the first time this season I have watched the team so admittedly I know nothing about the team.

As I said a month ago. This team is done for the season. No NCAA tourney. It’s not happening. Incredibly disappointing considering our talent. We are at home and about to lose 4 in a row. Something I don’t recall ever happened in Tara’s 30+ year career. Something is off. It starts with the coaches. I don’t even know that injuries would change the outcome of several of these past few games.

By my count it’s 5 in a row at home. This is not a second half team as all
Stanford teams in the past have been. But my god. The ACC need to require at fair called game at some point. This game may result in a loss, but I can’t anymore. I have not seen a fair called game in two years.. it’s enough!

This may be the first Stanford WBB game I left before it was over. About 1 minute into the fourth quarter I couldn't take it anymore.
