Stanford 20 the University of South Central 18.
I'm going to say I'm done with the Johnny Dawkins era right here and now.
EDIT: should note that this is the halftime score.

I watched the game at Galen Center with Good Grief and can report that he did not punch anyone in the nose. Mrs. Good Grief was also there to keep him in line.Â
But nose punching was not needed because USC's fans are even more apathetic than Stanford's. The student section was so small that we could not find it. I think there were more Song Girls than band members in attendance.Â
Stanford fans should not give up on the men's team yet. They play 3 of the last 5 at home, including Oregon and Cal. If they start to shoot better and take care of the ball, we might see some good results and perhaps a little momentum heading into the conference tournament.

When Garvin circumvents the text replacement feature of the Cardboard, it is high time to get rid of it.

Aren't these the basics of basketball?
If they're not doing it now, what makes you think they're going to suddenly improve?

Kathy, yes those are important aspects of the game along with defense, rebounding, execution, team chemistry, resiliency, toughness, etc.
Stanford took care of the ball and shot better in the 2nd half vs. USC which believe it or not is one of the toughest defensive teams in the conference. In addition, Stanford has played better at home vs. road. Perhaps a small ray of hope. But then again I am a glutton for punishment. I watched Stanford lose 70 games in my 4 years on campus and yet I am still a fan.

Oh, I'm a fan; just a very dispirited one these days.
