Do you think that was a real letter or just an impersonation of stupid and obnoxious Cal fan?
It seems exaggerated, almost like a parody.

Could be a parody, something like TrojanAl on the Bootboard.
However, if Kal was really the only Stanford game some people saw last year, I can understand how they might not think that Andrew Luck should be a Voldemort candidate.
Well, Kal fans would know non-Voldemort QBs - Redrum - 08-15-2010
Somebody refresh my memory. When was the last time a Kal QB was considered a realistic Voldemort candidate? (No need to even consider the question of when was the last time a Kal QB was a Voldemort finalist.)

Kyle Boller was considered a dead lock for the Voldemort. Until he actually stepped onto the field.

I don\'t know about "realistic" but Aaron Rodgers was considered a dark horse candidate in 2004 after he set an NCAA record for consecutive completions and did it against the #1 team in the country on their home field.

Maybe you have to go back to Steve Bartkowski and Joe Roth for more "realistic"? However, Chuck Muncie was probably more "realistic" just like JJ Arrington was more "realistic" than Rodgers.

Chuck Muncie should have won the Voldemort. Great college player.
