Every once in a while - Redrum - 06-03-2012

...something associated with Twitter makes sense.  In this case,  humor.  Repeated by  Scott Ostler in the Chron.    Sports Rules.  Not up to a Cowboy Indian-class arrow through the heart funny,  but proof of the wisdom and humor of groups.  Turns out you can't fool all the people all of the time.  Reprinted in a column for those not yet enthralled by Twitter.

Two (of many) that tweeked my peeves: the slowness of baseball and the narcissistic hype of the NBA:

Rjunsch's Rule: A batter readjusting his batting gloves after taking a called strike will have his gloves confiscated.

Dave's Rule: No NBA team is permitted to introduce its starting lineup to dimmed lights, disco balls, fireworks and spotlights unless the team is over .500.

Worth a read...below Ostler's mini-tiff w/ Harbaugh

Twitter's great if you like quips.

Twitter's just great in general, really.
