Honestly, as good as it was going to get.
Pac-12 needed some Friday and potentially Sunday games given the OOC crowding early in the year. SJSU was screaming Friday night because the visitors are from the area, so the date change would have minimal impact on the programs. If Stanford needed to host at least one Friday game this year, then this was a great choice.
Duke was almost certainly not going to be moved to a different day because of the logistics burden that would place on any visiting Dukies. Saturday night keeps the fans out of the day heat, and leaves Duke playing late at night.
Stanford on Fox. Amazing. A great deal for the national recruiting. By 4:30PM the Sunny side will be warm, but the rest will be fine. SC players and fans sitting in the sun, sounds good to me!
UW was clearly going to be at that time and channel. And yet going to UW in late September is not too bad of a deal.
Interestingly all four games are clearly impacted by the Pac-12 media focused deal.
Pretty sweet start. Of course, it will be even better if Stanford can grab 4 wins.Â

ESPN is broadcasting the UW game? And it is walking distance from my office? On a workday? I damned well better get sideline passes or something.
