Orphan reply to another thread now all alone in a cruel world - Redrum - 06-26-2012
.[ No idea why the board made this an irremovable stand-alone post, but it belongs in the WR thread where a copy was posted.)
..to watch Stepfan Taylor wrap up his third 1,000 yard season. Which is a completely different matter than injecting a snipe about the Texas v. Stanford recruiting record into a question about Boise St.'s evaluation of an Idaho recruit. Got no problem speculating why Boise didn't offer, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Texas. My hunch is Boise was slow-playing him, figuring a local kid would hang around waiting for a Boise offer over the others he had or might get. They probably aren't used to dealing with kids who would rather go to Harvard and play Ivy League ball rather than ride Boise's train to glory in the Big East.

I agree, doubt Boise expected Stanford to offer an unranked TE from Idaho when there were so many other TE's attending the camp. The fallout is already taking place though, as the TE from AZ verballed to ASU yesterday and the TE from Modesto picked Oregon before the camp. I bet the coaches at Boise are kicking themselves over not even offering.
