David doesn't like leadership - readarmy1976 - 09-01-2012
The quarterback is the leader of the team. Every coach says that but David Shaw. Obviously these players do not respond to Josh. Josh "led" a team of 4-star players to 20 points against a bad WAC defense.
There is more to being a coach or qb than making "the right calls". The quarterback must take the reigns, drive the team, and lead the men down the field. He must be a fiery competitor, like Harbaugh, Luck, Manning, Brees, etc. Josh Nunes and David Shaw look like they are sitting in kindergarden class.
David Shaw is part wet blanket, part poopy diaper. He wont let Nottingham lead the team, because that would show that David Shaw has none of the qualities of leadership. That would be too much for him to handle.
Last year we were good, because Harbaugh's leader was still on the team, and Shaw couldn't COMPLETELY undermine him. The Greatest college quarterback in history is about to win the Fiesta Bowl. I'll take him off of the field and put in Jordan Williamson!
Shaw is a poopy diaper, and he will turn this team into a poopy diaper. Stanford football is done, I am sorry to say.

Poopy diaper? Thanks for providing us with a third-grader's viewpoint.

He or she originally had "poppy diaper" and then corrected it after the derision. So, who knows? Maybe it truly was written by a third grader.
