Game participation - Spiny_Norman - 09-01-2012

According to the game notes, 10 true frosh played - Garnett, Murphy, Peat, Carter, Hoffpauir, Whitfield, Kaumatule, Madhu, Martinez and long snapper Miller.  I only recall seeing Garnett, Murphy, Carter and Miller.  Were the others on special teams?  Was Peat wearing #96 in the giant package?  I was in a bar and could not hear the audio.

I think it is worth noting that Stanford is one of the youngest teams in the conference.  The depth chart for SJS listed only 8 seniors total among the 2 deep position players (5 starters and 3 backups).  It has been said that teams improve the most from the 1st to the 2nd games of the season.  We can only hope so.

96 was Dillon Bonnell.

Peat was on the FG-blocking team, apparently.
