My guess is 10 based on the two games i watched. Stanford looked alot better than a #12 Ohio St team that just slipped by Da Baars.

I am thinking the same thing. Somewhere in the range of 9-12. Higher in the AP poll as we start from 16 there vs. 21 in the Coaches Poll. We will be ranked ahead of Notre Dame I think.

Now I love Stanford, and the D is amazing. And yet even I am not sure Stanford is #9. Based on their play I thought SC was NOT #2 or #3. So I suspect that SC is #15. If Stanford just beat a 15-20th type team, then Stanford is in that same range.
Nunes still has not played a game on the road yet, and now Stanford will play a lot of road games.
It is fun to see them at #9. It was great to see them beat SC. And yet, I am not sure I am ready to start planning my at-large BCS bowl plans.
The good news is that Stanford's upside going forward seems much, much higher than SCs. Nunes just played his third game, he will get better. Barcsss is in his 4th season, so he is pretty much as good as he will get.
