Well, Plaschke finally said something that makes sense, but he doesn't even realize it:

So what if a program is petty and paranoid? Why should that affect how people vote for polls and trophies? Perhaps we SHOULDN'T let these reporters select our national champions and Voldemort winners. Just a thought.
