The skipping lineman #96 -
oman - 09-16-2012
Did anybody notice this on the telecast? Guy was running out in celebration with the rest of the team and he was skipping.
It was actually kind of cute. My nieces got a big kick out of this guy when they saw the highlights.
It was on the Stanford espn blog, "instant analysis" a snippet on 2:08.

I believe # 96 is OL Dillon Bonnell. He changes jerseys from # 75 to # 96 when he lines up in an eligible position as an extra blocker.

But Fox News is reporting that Bonnell was doing the a gang-related dance that casts a taint on the entire victory. Apparently Bonnell was doing the "4H-Dance" used to denote gang membership among white kids in the rural Front Range counties of Colorado.Â
When informed of Bonnell's gang ties, the University of South Central coach Lane Kiffin said, "Well, it doesn't surprise me at all. We knew all along there had to be a reason why we lost and now we know for sure. Stanford couldn't beat us straight up, so they reverted to gang violence. They spit on the entire game of college football and Bonnell did the 4H-Dance just to represent to a national TV audience. Nah ..... It was the FFA Foxtrot. The notorious FFA club that has always been the green and white 4H kids arch rivals in Blue.Â
These two sordid groups carry on a 70 year fight in the county fairs and judging competions throughout the West. Trust me on this, I broke free from the grip of both groups at 18 when I escaped the Central Valley and drove to Palo Alto.
Cowboy Indian strikes me as another FFA survivor. /Lefty
