The cast is off! The cast is off! Peat's cast is off!

I'd initially minimized the impact of that cast, but if you spotted it on TV--man, that thing was brobdingnagian. This only bodes well, I feel.
And then there's this--two of UW's LBs are converted safeties and weigh 210 and 211 LBs, respectively. That...is not good (for the defense):

Is the general sense that Peat will be transitioned in as left tackle starter, allowing Yankey to move back to left guard? I'm more or less assuming since Danser won the right guard spot that he won out over Wilkes, Garnett and others. In other words, nice to go back to having at least one guard from last year and not two new starters. Pretty sure the o-line improved a lot over the course of last year, ideally this year too. Nunes passing confidence too and the team would be all the more formidable.
Edit: "Because tailback Anthony Wilkerson is out with a lower leg injury, Stepfan Taylor will be backed up by redshirt sophomore Ricky Seale and redshirt freshman Remound Wright. ... Although the cast is off freshman Andrus Peat's injured hand, David Yankey probably will start again at offensive left tackle, with Khalil Wilkes again taking Yankey's place at left guard, Shaw said." (FitzGerald, yesterday's Chronicle.)

Was it ever announced what sort of injury Wilkerson sustained?
