Probably...if only one could hear it.

Netted out?

Yes, that was interesting.  The two observations that he made that I found interesting:
1) Stanford is one of the tallest teams in football.  "Length" is useful for run defense in the 3-4, he said.
2) When asked whether Shaw had done something unique that distinguished his strategy from Harbaugh, he said that Shaw makes even greater use of the big packages on offense--even greater use of tight ends, particularly on obvious passing downs.  Interesting, I'm trying to remember if we have seen 3 TE sets much this year.

It's a pretty honest press conference.  No Lane Kiffin BS here...Sark is putting on a very professional approach to what on paper seems to be a mismatch.  To his benefit, if the creative playcalling brain trust at Stanford has aces in the hole against USB or Oregon, we probably won't be showing them against UW.

Luke Kaumatule apparently has been playing a bit, not positive whether filling in for either Toilolo or Ertz or as a 3rd TE. On the Ertz touchdown Kaumatule (#98... no name on jersey yet as I recall) was right there and put a great block on a hapless defender. Not sure Jemari Roberts or Dudchock have played much or at all.

Well, Harbaugh had more WR talent to work with - Redrum - 09-25-2012

Which,  despite the whole TE Mass Attack phenomenon,  gave Harbaugh more to work with than Shaw has now.  Harbaugh had the marvelous and dead-reliable Ryan Whalen,  a newly awakened Doug Baldwin  and Chris Owusu being thrown to by Andrew Luck  Shaw has Ty Montgomery and....TBA being thrown to by a QB who is a work in progress.  So while Sark's observation about lots of TE use may be true,  it's more a statement about talent pool than some great offensive scheme choice.
