CenturyLink field surface - ChicagoCard - 09-27-2012

As this is the first of three games for the team on artificial surface I was curious how new it was. A new FieldTurf surface was installed earlier this year which apparently meets MLS requirements. The Seattle Sounders play on it (4 MLS teams play home games on artificial turf) and their coach had this to say "There's more bounce to it and more give. It's a spongier surface so it plays a lot better than it did last year." Looks like Oregon has the same surface, not necessarily as new, and Kal something called Momentum Turf.

Is it generally easier for players used to turf to play on grass?  Or the other way around?
