too bad we don't have an offense.

I think Hewitt had that first down. Bad ball placement, IMO.
I'll take Hewitt > Stepfan on 4th and 1.

I'd say Nunes looks rattled on the road, but I'm not sure he's playing much different from his first three games.

Does Washington have a good defense or does our offense suck this bad?

yes

I don't know what you are talking about, the offense is doing an excellent job getting the defense back on the field.
We'll see if the "body blow" theory applies to energized underdogs playing at home. I don't see UW getting tired.Â
They are not getting much pressure on Nunes... he is just going to have to make the throws. Let's hope he's getting loose.Â

Gosh Nunes. He is having a bad game right now.

This is feeling like Oregon.

Where is my team.

We're going to show up. No doubt about that. We tend to play better in the 2nd half.
Have some confidence. These are the same boys that took down the #2 Trojans. We won't let them score. All we need is a couple of scoring drives. C'mon Nunes.

If this were Oregon, we'd be down 3 TDs.
You can't underestimate what the first game on the road means to a starting QB.

Wow Nunes.

YESSSSS
You can count on a couple of those :)

C'mon people, Really? Shouldn't we expect just a little bit more efficiency from our QB?
Re: Plenty of parties in the backfield, but -

Montgomery is in as much a funk as Nunes is.

Since our WRs are non-existent, how about play action passes to Hewitt like last year?Â
Re: Plenty of parties in the backfield, but -

I don't understand why we threw the ball so much. Pep and Shaw are being too clever for their own good. We're not going to wear out the Husky defense with less than 50% TOP. Taylor is averaging 4 ypc. Pound it.

We could use more of the Spider 3 Y Banana.

It feels as though the entire team is being held hostage so that the Nunes experiment can get plenty of reps. This reminds me of Cordova/Benjamin except Nottingham has not had enough game reps to show that he is worthy of the Benjamin comparison........Bring in Waldvogel!

No surprises so far.
The defense is playing well, the offense, well.......
Hopefully the defense can keep it up and the offense can generate enough points to win the game.
