That was fabulous, Steve - Redrum - 09-08-2010

Funny how many times the play series seemed to be inside the 35.
Went through the big photos sequentially and its almost better than video.  Certainly better than just an internet radio broadcast.   Great to see 5-8 shot play sequences.

If you check back,  could you tell me what your ratio of  total shots to the number of shots posted here?   50%?  60 retained, 40% edited?

Also, I think probably not, but do you edit shots within a play sequence?

Obviously a work of love to shoot it, but the editing and posting might be the real heavy lifting

Thanks from those stuck without season tickets.

Re: Stanford/Sac St Photos - fullmetal - 09-08-2010

Those screen passes seem to work against Sac St.  Also, our receivers looked able to juke defenders with some effectiveness.  We\'ll see what UCLA brings.

Thanks Steve!

Thanks for posting those photographs. I didn\'t get to see the game in person or, obviously, on tv in Montana. Stanford Stadium has got to be the most serene, placid football situation in America - it\'s like having a picnic in the oval or something. That came through in the photos. I also noticed that you caught the exact moment levine toilolo\'s knee ripped apart. It seems obvious that db\'s would try to take him out low, and then with those long levers, the torque on the knee joint is outrageously high. He\'s almost 6\' 9". He seems like a nice person, that sucks. In my opinion, 6\'9" is too tall to be getting tackled or cut blocked, maybe he\'ll come back as a left tackle.

Another observation: Andrew Luck is just a world-class athlete. I mean, that comes through even in still photos. He\'s so kinesthetically intelligent. He\'s kind of got this weird test-tube baby vibe to him. The guy could win olympic gold or play pro in almost any sport, a true superstar. kind of like gerhart in terms of just being a freak athlete.

One concern is you\'d expect a more dominant rushing performance against a team like Sac State. That\'s concerning. I like this team on paper, but I have the sense that they could fall flat. The UCLA game should clear things up. Anybody going?
