Stanford leads 2-0 in games (25-16, 25-11) and is currently holding all Texas hitters with non-zero hitting percentages to...negative hitting percentages. Â
Though the first game was a come-from-behind affair, with Stanford taking control in the last third, the second game was complete dominance from the Cardinal. Â Here\'s the Gametracker link; look for the game flow--it wasn\'t even close. Â
Of statistical note: Stanford with 22 assists to Texas\'s 8. Â Stanford with 2 solo blocks and 6 block assists to Texas\'s 2 block assists and two block errors. Â Stanford has 23 digs to Texas\'s 14. Â This team is on a roll!

Book it. Â Third set was competitive, but Stanford wins 25-21 over a punchless Texas embarking on year one of life without Destinee Hooker. Â Sr Julianne Faucette is the new go-to Texas attacker, and she hit for -.066 on 30 attempts, by far the highest number of attempts for any Longhorn this afternoon. Â Jr Amber Roberson was next with 19 attempts but could only muster a hitting percentage of -.104.
Enough about Texas.
Alix Klineman hit for .250 on 25 attempts, followed by five other players were in the teens for hitting attempts, all in the positive half of the number line. Â In fact, there was only one hitter in single digits, and that was Karissa Cook with one kill on one attempt.
The real test comes with the match against the winner of the Penn State/Florida game. Â Any bets on who\'s going to win that one?

/nod, they\'ve beaten "my" teams three out of the last, what, four years in the championships? Â i think it was PSU vs. Stanford, PSU vs. Stanford, PSU vs. Texas...they\'re about to approach UConn in the despicable department.
