Some good things, some bad things.
Offense looked similar to last year\'s, though none of the backs are as dominant as Toby, and Luck looks just a bit fuzzy with his receivers.
Defensively there have been some cover-your-eyes bad moments, but we\'re making big plays that we often didn\'t last year.

Speaking of Toby-like dominance, there was at least one FG that resulted from some stubbornness about running the ball inside the UCLA 10-yd line that was stuffed on first and second down for loss of yardage...when UCLA stacks about everyone in the box, maybe you shouldn\'t try running it. Â Even Toby was stuffed when opposing defensive coordinators threw kitchen sinks at the line. Â Later on, Coby Fleener\'s touchdown came on a Luck rollout, and he was very alone in the end zone when he caught the ball. Â Hope Harbaugh keeps this in mind later on in the season.
