Pac-10 action today - fullmetal - 09-11-2010

Oregon is down 3-13 against Tenn with 14:21 to go in the 2nd quarter.  This could be interesting.

Washington up 20-10 over Syracuse at the start of the second half.

WSU down 7-13 against...Montana State?  The reunion weekend game is a lock, imho.

Gotta love it... every Pac-10 team (except UCLA, of course -- and an idle Oregon State) won today!

Re: Pac-10 action today - fullmetal - 09-11-2010

Oregon pulled themselves together and delivered a stomping in Knoxville.  WSU eked out a 24-23 victory over Montana State.  Nice turnarounds.

By the way, kal beat Colorado 52-7.  Larry Scott has only succeeded in drawing a sub-par football program into the Pac-10 fold, or he will once they figure out the Colorado buyout price.  I think the takeaway lesson is that Harbaugh needs to be very careful with Big Game this year.

The WSU score was actually 23-22.

Oregon\'s score was 48-13.  Looks like they pitched a second-half shutout.

USC had a ho-hum game against UVa, 17-14.  Maybe this isn\'t a very good USC team, or at least, not a consistent one.  No breakfast tomorrow for the Trojans, cause they have no bowls!  (Not for two years anyway.)

UW beat Syracuse 41-20.  Locker found Jermaine Kearse for three touchdowns...that\'s a receiver to lockdown this season.

UA\'s Grigsby had 3 rushing TD\'s against the Citadel (they won 52-6).  We already know that the run defense needs to be tougher...last year is the proof.  Also, Nick Foles hasn\'t gone away: he was 17-22 for 200+ yds, 1 TD, and 1 INT.

ASU beat Northern Arizona, 41-20 (popular score for the Pac-10).  QB Steven Threet was 33-49 for 391 yds, 3 TDs, and 2 INTs.  With only 56 yds rushing, they still managed 2 rushing TDs, but I guess this was only Northern Arizona.  Still, the secondary had better be prepared for this game.
