Re: Halftime: Stanford 10, WSU 10 - needle - 10-27-2012

Key predictive stat might be time of possession: WSU 21:03 to Stanford's paltry 8:57.

I strongly, strongly suspect that Stanford's D is not going to be able to keep WSU's offfense from getting yards, and a tired defense might even allow a running back to get some yards when Leach tries to sneak a run into his play-calling. Obviously, I'm VERY worried.

Peat is in on first offensive snap. Lots of rushes will be attempted this half.

Great drive to start the half, though if I was a WSU fan I'd be pretty pissed about the pass interference call on Ertz which really bailed the offense out.

Re: Halftime: Stanford 10, WSU 10 - estephan500 - 10-27-2012

The Hogan Package took one more little step towards appearing to be more like a "shadow offense"

Re: Halftime: Stanford 10, WSU 10 - washingtonismoney - 10-27-2012

Yeah, Hogan looked mostly exciting -- but that seven yard sack he took was a real killer.

Re: Halftime: Stanford 10, WSU 10 - Fuzzy Dunlop - 10-27-2012

I wasn't able to see the game. Did Hogan actually do anything exciting, or was it just exciting to see someone other than Nunes back there?

Re: Halftime: Stanford 10, WSU 10 - dabigv13 - 10-27-2012

He didn't do much other than seem lively. Most of the big gainers when he was QB came on read-option handoffs to Kelsey Young. The sack was atrocious, and hard to really judge his ability as a passer.
