Need a nickname for the Oregon Ducks - Bruce Wang - 10-30-2012

Apologies from the newbie, if this has been discussed before.  I'm starting to hate the Ducks as much as $C.  I used to not be a fan of the autocorrect, but now that I get Literature's Most Famous Losers and ever since the Kal fans got their knickers in a twist about the BART station thing, I think it's hilarious.  We need one for Oregon assuming we come up with a good one.  Here's my first idea:

Well, there's the obvious "Nike U" or "Phil Knight U" (yes, Stanford has benefited from Phil's largess, but not athletically, that I can tell.)

This won't be popular but I was thinking something like: The Team That Stanford Can't Beat.

I know we beat them 3 years ago but otherwise they have had our number the last ten years.  I hope that changes at some point.

Rome did an entire segment or two on Harbaugh's "jive turkey gobblers" comment from last night's presser.  Hilarious.

I know people here think Shaw is arrogant and disdainful of the media, but that's practically a job requirement (or so it seems).  Harbs absolutely despises his mandatory presser, as well as his next-day chat with KNBR morning hosts.  I mean, why even bother doing those things?

But Jim wins, and his team in incredibly well-prepared, win, and and by and large look good doing so.  Thus, any objections to his media obligations are muted.

NYC has it right.  Until further notice the appropriate Duck nickname is "overlord".
