How about those of us in California? I have Direct TV so when the Colorado game was moved to FX I actually got to watch it. If this keeps up during the basketball season I might switch back to Comcast.

The DirecTV vs. Pac-12 thing is what it is. DirecTV is not going to carry the Pac-12 until August 2013. Anything before then will be a shocker. The Pac-12 Networks revenue model apparently does not need DirecTV yet, and DirecTV does not see the need. It literally might take the Ducks winning the BCS to really change the equation.
In any event, here is something that is very interesting, at least to me.
Oregon State vs. Stanford is at Noon on Fox nationally.
ASU vs. USC is at Noon on the Pac-12 Networks.
THAT is something few SC fans probably would have predicted back in August. :)

But bloody marys and mimosas will have to do.
On a related note, I read that ESPN chose c.al/oregon over our game, which I think is bullocks. Who wants to see oregon abuse c.al in a game that will be over before it even starts?

At this point I think a fair number of SEC and Big12 fans want to see Oregon games. The OSU v Stanford thing is a Pac-12 story, and a big Pac-12 story. Oregon is a national story with a Voldemort hopeful.
I think the only problem with the call is that the game will be over soon after it starts, but even that may be OK since that will help keep Sportscenter's ratings up.
Does anyone know which network gets the first pick for the November 17th Saturday?

You're right, of course, just grumbling. I think it's pathetic, personally, that when our game is worthy of College GameDay, considering what's at stake in the conference, as well as the rankings and match-ups, that we get bypassed for a game that will be over before the first quarter is through. I also wanted that afternoon/evening time slot.

Just because I feel like feeling a little sorry for myself, I need to point out that we have tickets for the OSU game but won't be there because I need to go to an old friend's funeral that afternoon. She made it to almost 92, and she had a great life -- but I need to be there in tribute to a great lady. So those of you who are at the game, yell extra loud! (I have made sure that our seats will be filled by true-blue Stanford fans, so I won't be feeling guilty while I'm feeling borderline grumpy.)
