A nice look at the x's and o's off our option game with Hogan at QB.

The roll-out play action was a play I always thought we should run for Nunes to simplify things for him and let him focus on making the throws, but it seems Hogan has the better skillset to run it effectively.

I find the conclusion pretty hilarious -- the writer apparently can't take his own analysis seriously. He suggests Stanford will make Oregon's defense look overmatched, but somehow the team will be down four possessions in the third quarter. One, or the other, might happen by it seems supremely unlikely both will.

Anyway, everyone seems obsessed with Hogan's running. It's important, but it shortchanges his throwing, which is the most important part of the package. Hopefully Oregon feels the same way (Chipper mentioned Hogan's running/athleticism in response to a Hogan vs Nunes question.)
