Congratulations From A Bama Fan! - grambo7 - 11-18-2012

Congratulations and thank you for an outstanding win over Oregon last night! Bama fans are loving the Cardinal today but that's not the reason for this post. Last night was only the second time I've watched Stanford play this season and from what I saw those kids are a legitimate top ten team without question. I was impressed with the poise, class and effort of Stanford. The way Stanford plays reminds me a lot of Alabama by grinding out yards with a tough running game that wears other teams down and a bright QB who manages the game beautifully. Ertz was super impressive! Congratulations and Good luck the rest of the season. I'd love to see our two teams play one day. Roll Tide / Go Cardinal.

Thanks for the post. Still harbor a bit of resentment over Gerhart losing the Voldemort to Ingram a few years back, but would love to see Stanford - Alabama in a BCS game one of these years. Two teams with similar styles of play, and a chance for the Stanford front 7 to measure themselves against the national standard.

A&M was clearly the superior team that day (despite fullmetal's and oman's silly preseason predictions of the Aggies achieving patsy status in the SEC this year), so yes, 'Bama has been gifted.

I cheerfully admit that I was wrong--A&M is extremely competitive in the $EC.Â Man, that $EC is overrated.Â (They're a lot less awesome now that the Ags are wrecking shop in there...with a freshman.Â I mean, come on ;))
