I think the score would have been a little different if Bright had played.

crispy Garvin at his best. :)

now that LSU has officially ungrabbed Stanford's Johnson, he seems to have settled in well as a Horned Frog with big wins over the Gentlemen of Centenary and the Midshipmen of USNA among others.  TCU was 18-15 last year, but many preseason publications hold out for less success with Trent (graduation, new conference).  many have TCU hotly contesting a 12th place in the Big 12 this year.  we'll see how he does.

I don't see how Johnson being a bad coach has any impact on Dawkins being a bad coach at this point. The team is Dawkins' team entirely, and he owns it. So since they generally look clueless on offense, with Dawkins still struggling with "calling timeouts to stop runs" and "well-balanced lineups," well, that's on him. With the loss to Belmont, the odds of reaching the tournament are much lowered -- which, given the previous history of the program is an awfully low bar to clear.

I think someone's sarcasm detector may need new batteries.

I don't really care how Trent's new dream teams do as long as Stanford beats them head to head should the teams ever meet.  I always thought Trent was overrated at Stanford and a poor recruiter, but that is in the past.

good rebound win for Stanford against Northern Iowa.  injuries to Bright and Anthony Brown aren't helpful.  looks like the FR class will get a lot more minutes this year than anticipated -- Christian Sanders got the start again.  nice game from Andy Brown.
