UCLA Game Thread - Leftcoast - 11-24-2012
Long opening drive for a TD - Good excuse to open this thread. We ran for most of the 75 yards and Hogan scrambled to buy time for a TD throw for the score.

It's going to be tough. The offense is having lots of trouble, although I think the defense is going to step up, as usual. Hundley made two fantastic plays on the first drive, but I don't think (hope?) that'll keep happening.

After looking really strong the past few games, the secondary is so far looking really tentative.

Me, too. Some of his challenges this season have been really questionable but with the first replay, I saw that the "catch" happened right in front of him.

Great drive. Hogan continues to impress. But it's disturbing that our run blocking still isn't anywhere near last year's level.

Defensive tackling isn't as sure this time around as against Oregon. The defenders are getting good early contact but UGLY player wih the ball is breaking free more often than not.

Okay. Nice 3-and-out. Now a long, sustained TD drive to break the UCLA will. Go into the locker room up 21-7 and the Bruins will start thinking about saving it for next week.

We're ahead, but we missed a couple of opportunities to really put UCLA away.
So we'll see how things go in the second half. I think we are the better team and we should win this game.
