I suppose Shaw's new contract will drop us down this list in the future, but it will be worth it.  Count me surprised that Oregon's football costs were not orders of magnitude higher than Stanford's.  Unless of course, "recruiting services" were not reported.

Phil Knight's lavish donations (as well as any booster spending) probably don't count toward these totals.
