A lot of smoke on Twitter about the possibility of Pep Hamilton going to coordinate Va. Tech's offense.

I struggle to see the attraction (and as I write this I am wearing a VT shirt). Any insight on why/how this would make sense?

A few guesses:
1) more money
2) more credit -- whatever success the Stanford offense has will probably primarily attributed to Shaw (who's obviously primarily an offensive guy). Since credit is the primary currency that buys a head coaching job, Hamilton might be wise to seek out a job where he'll get more.
