According to this blog, part of the reason CK is with the 49ers is Andrew Luck's recommendation after the Manning passing academy.

Ca.l fans who don the red and gold on Sundays are already spinning their logic to reconcile their love of Coach Harbaugh of the 49ers with their hatred of Coach Harbaugh of the Stanford Cardinal. If they have to further reconcile their love of 49er QB1 with their hatred of former Stanford QB1 who may have played a role in landing him, Ca.l fan board may just implode.

I enjoyed their thread explaining why Cal fans should hate the 49ers, and it had little to do with the digit in the tens column. Oddly, no one has posted in the thread since the NFC regional game.
