Stanford poaching target? - OutsiderFan - 01-25-2013
Last week California flipped 6-5 and 257 Sacramento OL Vincent Johnson from Iowa State. Today the California Rivals publisher says Oklahoma and Stanford are going hard after him. Might be this year's Michael Rector, a guy nobody heard associated with Stanford until signing week, who flipped from UW last year on signing day. Anyone heard anything about this kid?

We probably don't have room for him so if Stanford is recruiting him it is probably as a preferred walk-on. And Rector went to Stanford camps prior to flipping so he wasn't exactly out of left field.

no Stanford offer.
doubtful as a walk-on. I don't we've ever had a walk-on with a reported 3.2 gpa.
